Consumer Advisory Committee Meeting @ Pathways Center

The Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) is of special importance to this agency. Comprised solely of low income members, they provide critical feedback to help marketing and outreachn efforts. Additionally, the CAC interviews all potential Consumer Representatives for the Board of Directors.

The Porter Area Watch Group (PAWG) includes local residents, Community Action staff, police officers, and others who are working to improve neighborhood conditions in the area around Porter and Keeler Avenues in Beloit’s eastside Merrill Neighborhood. Finance Committee Meeting @ Pathways Center

The Finance Committee will meet as often as necessary, but not less than quarterly. The
committee is made up of both Board Members and non-Board Members as appointed by the
Chairperson of the Community Action Board of Directors. The committee Chair must be a member of the Board of Directors and is appointed by the Chair of the Board.

Courageous Conversations @ Merrill Community Center

Courageous Conversations is a monthly exploration into racial justice, diversity and issues that affect us all. A group of community stakeholders meets the fourth Monday of the month at the Merrill Community Center.

The series is co-sponsored by Community Action, the Diversity Action Team of Rock County and YWCA Rock County.
