Skills Enhancement is a program available to Rock County residents designed to increase the income and economic self-sufficiency of low-wage working households. The program helps adult members acquire the skills they need to obtain higher paying jobs with health care benefits in demand occupations.
Eligible participants must reside in households with incomes at or below 150% of the federal poverty level and must be employed at least 20 hours per week. A strong commitment is required to combine training, employment and personal lives in the short-term in exchange for long term economic benefits.
