Twin Oaks Shelter for the Homeless, a program of Community Action, Inc. of Rock & Walworth Counties, is excited to announce “Fill the Tractor for Twin Oaks”. The country-themed fundraiser will be held August 3rd at Whiskey Ranch, W9002 State Road 11, Delavan. The event features bucket raffles, hourly 50/50 draws, celebrity bartenders and live country music. All proceeds support Twin Oaks, Walworth County’s only homeless shelter open year-round.

“Our shelter relies on private donations to keep serving our most vulnerable neighbors,” says Twin Oaks Shelter manager Elizabeth Knapp-Spooner. “Often, a stay at Twin Oaks means the difference between sleeping in a bed and spending the night in a car.”

Twin Oaks will accept donations of bedding, small appliances, personal care items, diapers, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues and household cleaning supplies at the event. Those bringing donations to help fill the tractor will be entered into a special raffle with a prize package worth more than $300.

The “Fill the Tractor” fundraiser is part of a summer campaign to support Twin Oaks. Organizations sponsoring families in 2019 include:
