Community Action, Inc. of Rock & Walworth Counties is ringing in the holiday season with its 8th Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza. The event returns as a drive-thru this year on December 4th in Beloit’s Eclipse Center parking lot. All proceeds support Community Action’s local anti-poverty programs.
Guests at the Drive-Thru Gingerbread Extravaganza will pick up their pre-purchased gingerbread kit complete with a gingerbread house, candy, icing and instructions. Guests will then assemble and decorate their houses at home.
Santa Claus plans to make his annual appearance, with professional photos donated by SMR Photography of Milton. He will stand a safe distance away from others posing in the photos.
Tickets for this year’s Gingerbread Extravaganza are available at community-action.org. Tickets are required in advance and sell out every year. The event also features an online auction and a raffle for a 2021 Nintendo Switch OLED. Auction and raffle winners will be notified Sunday, December 5th.
